The Best Funny Immigration Gifts & Gag Gifts for New Citizens and Coworkers

You’ve seen it on TikTok. You’ve seen it on Etsy. And now you can get it cheaper, direct from the people who actually make it.

The Metal Green Card is one of the most viral gag gifts on the internet — a laser engraved, wallet-sized aluminum card that looks just official enough to be hilarious. It’s been shared thousands of times, gifted to coworkers, friends, and family members, and it never gets old.

Whether you’re celebrating a new citizen, roasting a coworker, or just looking for a gift that’ll actually get a laugh, this is it. Here’s everything you need to know — plus a few other gag gifts that pair perfectly with it.

The Star of the Show

Metal Green Card Personalized Gag Gift for Friends Coworkers Keepsake

This is the one. A laser engraved anodized aluminum card, wallet-sized, personalized with a name — styled to look like an official green card but clearly a gag gift. It’s funny, it’s premium, and it’s permanent.

Unlike the cheap paper or plastic versions floating around online, ours is made from real anodized aluminum with laser engraving that won’t fade, peel, or scratch off. It feels like something official. That’s what makes it so funny.

Why people love it:

• Personalized with the recipient’s name — makes it feel real
• Laser engraved aluminum — not printed, not plastic, not cheap
• Wallet-sized — they’ll actually carry it
• Ships fast — great for last-minute gifts
• Available at a discount directly from our website — cheaper than Etsy, same product, made by us

Perfect for: New citizens celebrating naturalization, coworkers who just got their work visa, friends who immigrated and have a sense of humor about it, office gag gift exchanges, going-away parties, welcome-to-America celebrations.

Occasions: Naturalization ceremonies, citizenship parties, office gift exchanges, birthdays, holidays, “just because” gifts for the immigrant in your life who can take a joke.

“Gone viral on TikTok and Etsy for a reason — it’s the perfect mix of premium and ridiculous.”
