The Metal Green Card Gift: The Ultimate Immigration Gag Gift Guide
It's the most American gag gift you can give — a laser-engraved metal green card, personalized with any name, that looks just official enough to be hilarious. Whether you're celebrating a new citizen, roasting a coworker, or just looking for the gift that gets the biggest reaction in the room, the metal green card delivers every time.
It's our #1 best-selling product. And once you see one in person, you'll understand why.
What Is the Metal Green Card Gift?
Our Metal Green Card is a laser-engraved anodized aluminum card the size of a standard wallet card — designed to look like a U.S. Permanent Resident Card (green card), personalized with any name you choose. It's a novelty gag gift, not an official document — but it's impressive enough that people do a double-take every single time.
It's heavy, it's precise, and it's the kind of thing people pull out of their wallet to show everyone they know.
Who Is This Gift For?
New Citizens & Naturalization Celebrations
Someone just became a U.S. citizen. They went through the process, passed the test, took the oath, and earned it. A metal green card personalized with their name is a funny, heartfelt way to celebrate that milestone — a keepsake that acknowledges the journey with humor and pride.
Immigrants & Expats
For the friend, family member, or coworker who moved to the U.S. and navigated the immigration system — a metal green card is the gift that says "we see you, we're glad you're here, and we're going to laugh about it."
Coworker Gag Gifts
The metal green card is one of the most viral office gag gifts in existence. It gets passed around, photographed, and shown to everyone in the building. A perfect White Elephant gift, Secret Santa pick, or farewell gift for the international coworker who's finally "official."
Anyone with a Sense of Humor About Immigration
You don't have to be an immigrant to appreciate the joke. The metal green card lands with anyone who gets the reference — which, in 2026, is basically everyone.
Personalization Options
Every metal green card is laser-engraved with the recipient's name. You can also customize:
- The name field — their real name, a nickname, or a joke name
- Additional text fields — country of origin, date, or a personal message
- Card color — available in multiple anodized aluminum finishes
The Two Green Card Options
- Metal Green Card — *Your Name Here* — the original, personalized with any name. Our #1 best-selling product.

Why Metal Makes It Better
Paper green card replicas are everywhere. A laser-engraved metal version is different — it has weight, precision, and the kind of finish that makes people pick it up and not want to put it down. It's the difference between a joke and a keepsake. The metal green card is both.
Made in the USA, Fast Turnaround
